This FAQ is to help answer any questions you may have about myapps.microsoft.com. From how to use it, how to create custom collections, and how to request access to apps (Coming Soon!)

What is MyApps?
MyApps is a web-based portal provided by Microsoft that allows users to access all their work applications in one place. It supports single sign-on (SSO), making it easier and faster to launch apps securely.
How do I access MyApps?
You can access the portal by visiting https://myapps.microsoft.com and signing in with your work account (e.g., john.doe@zywave.com).
What can I do on the MyApps portal?

What is a collection?
A collection is a 'group' that you can create to put like applications in, for easier sorting. You don't need to create custom collections if you don't want to, but it can be helpful to find apps easier or group them based on the type of use, IE: HR related apps, Salesforce related apps, Marketing apps etc.
The collection "Apps" is a default Microsoft Collection that shows all the apps you have access to.
There's an app I don't use, can I remove or hide it?
You can hide apps if you don't want to see a specific one by clicking the 3-dot icon on an app tile and select 'Remove'. This removes the app from the collection you remove it from. So, if you have the app tile for 'Bookings' in multiple collections and want to remove it from one collection, it will only be removed from that one collection you 'Remove' from. The other collections will still have 'Bookings' app tile.

I removed an app and want it back but can't find it, help!
No worries! The app is still there just hidden. If you removed the app from the 'Apps' collection you can select 'Settings' option for the 'Apps' collection and select 'Reset to default'. You will get a notification that "This unhides any apps that have been removed and resets them to alphabetical order". Select Reset.
If you want to add it to a specific collection you can use the search bar to find it and using the 3-dot icon 'Add apps' and select the collection you want to add it to.

I had an app in myapps but now it's not there?
Some users may have A LOT of apps and sometimes they all start to blend together. You can use the search bar at the top of the page and find any app that you are looking for.

It may be possible that the application's access was recently reviewed, and your access was revoked. First reach out to the product owner or your manager to ensure you should still have access to the application. If you should still have access reach out to IT and we will work with you to get it added back.
It's also possible that the application has not been setup to be in myapps as noted at the top of this page. If you don’t see something core to your role, please let us know and we will work with you to have added to MyApps! As always, just send a note to it.services@zywave.com.
I'm still not seeing an app that I should have access to.
There are also some applications from third-party vendors that do not support the use of their app with myapps. Don't worry though you still have access to the application if you're an approved user it's just not visible in myapps. To login to these apps you will need to visit the login page for the application or website and login with SSO there.
How can I organize my apps into collections?
- Open the myapps portal
- At the top right of the Apps Dashboard you will see an option "Create collection"
- After you select "Create collection" you will have an option to give it a personalized name, this collection is only visible to you.
- You can then select "Add Apps" and you will see a list of all the apps you can add to the collection, check mark the box and select 'Add' then 'Create' back on the "Create new collection" window
What if I forgot to add an app to my new custom collection?
You can easily add more apps to a collection, whether you forgot to add one or get access later on to more apps.
First select the 'Settings' option next to the collection you want to modify and select Edit and you can follow the instructions on adding apps found in the "How can I organize my apps into collections?" section in this FAQ

I don't like the name I gave a collection; can I change it?
You can rename the collection if you would like by selecting the 'Settings' option next to a collection and under 'Edit' you can update the name. You can't rename the 'Apps' collection though as this is a default name provided by Microsoft.
Can I reorder collections so my most used are first in line?
If you have a bunch of collections and want to reorder them so the most used ones are first, you can select 'Settings' option next to any of the collections and you will be able to drag and drop them


I don't need one of my collections anymore, how can I delete it?
You can also delete your custom collection if you do not want it anymore through the 'Settings' options next to the collection and selecting 'Delete'. This doesn't delete the apps that are in the collection, they'll still be available either in the 'Apps' collection or the search bar or other collections you may have added it to.

I want to change my view; can I do that?
There are some customizations you can do if you want to try them out. You can also re-arrange the collections in this option as well
Select the 'Customize View' in the upper right corner. You can switch between a 'list view' or 'grid view' for the app tiles, and for the collections you can switch between a 'focus mode' or 'continuous mode'. Try them out to see what best suites you.

Can I add custom app tile for a website I visit frequently?
Yes you can! If you find yourself using a website frequently and instead of typing the URL or having a bookmark in your internet browser, you can add an app tile. All you need is the URL for the website.
First select 'Add apps', then 'Add a site'

You will then fill out the information and select which collection you want to add it to, adding to a collection is optional, then click save. Note: Not all sites you enter as a custom website tile will populate an image for it. In the example screenshot below Google auto populates the 'G' icon. (e.g. If you create an app tile for an internal website it will create the app but the image for it will be a two-letter picture.)

What should I do if I see an error or can’t sign in?
Try the following:
- Try the application again
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, close out of the browser and try again
- Use a different browser
- Ensure your internet connection is stable
- If the issue persists, contact your IT support team.
